Ann Arbor's funky leftfield drummer Shigeto makes a pitstop at Chicago's famed Smart Bar to spread his seize-life-by-the-horns musical philosophy and support his latest record, No Better Time Than Now, for Ghostly International. Fans of the record will know the proceedings err on the mellow side, but Friday's performance, which also sees warm-up and wind-down sets from Chicago's Abstract Science (including Dialogue Inc founder Mister Joshua), should prove to be a unique ride through beats and bass territory fit for the dance floor.
