This summer's already had its fair share of excitement. Pitchfork just wrapped up here in Chicago a few weeks back and the images of chilling under the evening sun—beer in hand—watching Grizzly Bear playing on the main stage are still fresh in my mind. Pat Mahoney of LCD Soundsystem was in town last week and we had the privilege of playing alongside him, at one of the city's best dance music venues no less. So its with this in mind that Dialogue Inc gears up for its biggest adventure yet, a jet setting birthday trip to the good ol' U.K. to see our great friend and musical kindred spirit, Roy Shay. Jokingly we refer to him as our Senior Great British Correspondent, but in reality, Mr. Shay is much more than this. Friend, confidante, tastemaker, computer whiz... All apply equally.

Thanks to Roy and a few well placed friends overseas, we've been granted a VIP passage to Big Chill, for us, the more appropriate substitute for Lollapalooza, which we attended last year (and is taking place on the same weekend this year). We' re gearing up to see Mulatu, Alice Russell, Scruff, Quantic, Pharoah—fucking—Sanders and god damn Orbital. And we couldn't be more excited. We'll also be playing on Big Chill Radio, live from the festival so look out for recordings of those sessions upon our return.

As a promotional tour for Dialogue Inc while we're there, we've spliced the first half of our last radio show and are using it as a giveaway mix to entice good natured scenesters on over to our site. For regular followers this is a bit of a repeat post, but for anyone who's found their way here thanks to a mix our music curator, Joshua P.
